Have a job that you love and you will never work a day in your life.
For awhile now, Drew and I have been working on starting our own little photography and videography business. We bought a video camera last summer and did our first "real" shoot ( I would call it) last October. Since then we've done some videos here and there for some of our consignors at DP Sales Management sales.
For years I have looked up to and admired some of the great cattle photographers. And taking pictures and having them run beside some of those peoples' still scares me. We attended Christy Collin's marketing seminar in May, and boy was that helpful! After that we've made some upgrades to our equipment and gained valuable information.
I am grateful for anyone that gives us a chance to take a video or picture of their cattle. We are by no means trying to make it big in this area, but we do it together and we enjoy it. I am so thankful everyday that God led me to a man that enjoys Agriculture, beef cattle, and the Simmental breed as much as I do.
So who knows where we will go from here. But I do know that we will have our camera and video camera in hand.
