{Sale Day Fashion} Family Traditions

This past weekend was the Family Traditions sale in Auburn; which just so happens to be the sale that we (HTP Simmentals) sells our own cattle. It is one of the bigger sales for us for the spring so I wanted to look nice that day. 

Well...I looked nice when I left the hotel. It was pouring down rain the day of the sale. They got just over 4 inches at the sale barn. But don't worry we had plenty of umbrellas and ponchos for customers to head out and look at the cattle. 

But the rain did not do great things for my hair. I kept walking around asking everyone if my hair was "this big" with my hands out to the side of my hair. I felt like I had a fro. So by the time the sale started my hair was half up.

Rain and frizzy hair aside it was a great sale! We are so lucky to be apart of a successful sale and have some great customers - rain or shine!

{Sale Day Fashion} Family Traditions Bull Sale

After a cold and rainy day last Thursday, the sun was shining for our sale on Saturday. Actually it was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. Which always makes for a better sale day. Beautiful weather for people to look at bulls!

 I have been struggling with this button up since I got it back in October. I loved it in the magazine, but have had a hard time pairing it with something for the perfect outfit. I was happy with how this turned out. The paisley print is bright and colorful, which I thought paired nicely with my bubble necklace. 

Have you invested in the bubble necklace? I'll be honest... when I find a trend that I like I buy a few different colors. So let's just say I have a nice color wheel of this necklace. 

{Sale Day Fashion: Wild Wild West}

I realize that it has been awhile since I've done a sale day fashion. For awhile, it was week after week. You see we had a bit of a "break." Our last sale was on December 15th and then throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays we were back in the office preparing for the spring and having a little down time. 

We are almost back to crazy time when we will have a sale every weekend, but we've still got about 2 weeks before that happens. We did, however, have a sale in Denver during the National Western Stock Show.

I got this awesome Aztec sweater when I was in Las Vegas at the National Finals Rodeo. I wore it on Christmas Eve, but was excited to break it out at a sale! Super comfortable! You can also find it here. I may or may not have bought the black sweater with while at a recent Southern Jewlz sale. Guess you will just have to keep reading to see!
